I've been noticing that I do this a lot too. I think so many of us on this journey of self-discovery try to intellectualize what we're feeling and experiencing. It's only recently (this year) that I've found that creative expression helps me to name, identify, move through, and metabolize what I'm feeling -- because sometimes there aren't words or I can't find them yet.
