A Guide to Embracing and Navigating the Wilderness in Life
As a wilderness guide, I wish I'd written this piece.
I appreciate the extended metaphor of what to do if you're lost in the wild, as well as David Waggoner's timeless poem.
Because there are many matching threads and images, I'm curious if you've ever worked with the Animas Valley Institute?

I have not worked with them but I’ve heard wonderful things and have talked with a few of their guides over the years. I read Soul Craft a few years ago and it was a bit over my head. Likely time to revisit 😅
Beautiful, makes sense. Bill's work is ambitious and can take a bit to get into, but I think the juice is worth the squeeze :)
Incredible. 💜
Saved for many future re-reads
Wonderful piece, thank you Steve
