Congrats on launching this Schlaf! It's cool to hear your story of how it emerged and couldn't agree more on how needed it is in the world right now. feels like we're just scratching the surface of a huge movement in this direction and excited to see you leading the way

Beautiful. I've been part of a couple of accelerators. I'm smiling at how all that energy and hustle can be inverted to look inward and ground oneself instead of being incentivized to sprint off in a new direction.

Love it!

Wow, this is the clearest and most evocative naming and branding for a program I've seen in a long time. Well done. I love the vision here Steve!

What a great idea Steven.

I often warn my clients about the tiredness, sickness, and general lethargy that can accompany transitioning out of a high stress environment. Our CNS has adapted for so long that there's a very real release valve that gets unleashed.

Now I can send them your way! :)

Schlaf, just wanted to drop a note and say that I felt super inspired by your launch of this program.

As a fellow program builder, I appreciated the elegant frame that you offered for the program and the hybrid in-person + virtual nature of the program. But what touched me the most and expanded my awareness in how I experienced the world was actually seeing your program plugged by other writers in their Substacks.

In combination with a recent plant medicine journey, it made me realize how much I'd been building and growing in isolation and missing a key ingredient in my own soul-aligned work — leaning into relationships as part of the journey of spreading what I wanted to do in the world.

Thank you! ❤️

Interesting. I had recently similar thoughts, reframed them as "downscale" as a way for startups to operate.

- Why does any software startup must go endlessly bigger?

- Why can't software be designed to thrive without daily updates, similar to programming languages?

- What’s the SMBs of startups in tech?

Surely, it's a byproduct of the "startup" culture—happy to see initiatives going the other way.

So cool, and so necessary! I love naming this concept “deceleration”, words have power and this is a powerful concept for our always-on culture.

I do, so, appreciate all efforts to help understand that quagmire of mind that results in dependence... gambling, sex (I wish), powder, Nicotine or alcohol... which mind... which choice... is there a circumstance or is it something broken?
