I'm 26 and yeah there's a lot of potential, amazing new things, blah blah, but all uncertainty, stress and fear about making the right choices for my future drive me insane at times. A great book about the craft of writing is by Murakami - Novelist as a Vocation.
If you pair it with his book about running a image arises what it means to write full time:
- Its a marathon
- do deep work until it remains pleasurable (not longer)
- show up on the next day again
