Thanks so much for your curiosity to explore this and your courage to share it - beautiful to see this unfolding of your slimy conversation with the world :)
To me, this means that we often perceive an hour as fleeting, thinking it’s not enough time. However, when we slow down, become fully present, and engage our senses, we realize that an hour can actually feel much longer.
There’s also a deeper meaning here. Beyond the feeling that an hour isn’t enough, lies the understanding that it truly is sufficient. We often get caught in a cycle of believing we’re always short on time, but by practicing mindfulness, we can recognize that the hour before us is exactly what we need.
Yeah. And this is so true in the context of coaching conversations. An hour can really make a difference, often times feeling much longer than a “normal” hour.
Was indeed wondering if you were somehow linking this “an hour is a long time” concept with your coaching work!
